Stompin' Dave - (acoustic blues/roots)

In this format Dave concentrates on his acoustic guitar guitar skills, with voice, and tap dancing. Performing his own unique takes on classic blues, plus traditional tunes and songs, as well as his own originals. He has consistently given over one hundred performances per year across the UK and beyond, including many major festivals such as Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, and Bestival. 

Bridport, Dorset based Dave has worked exclusively as a musician performing across the UK and beyond. He started to perform with the stage name Stompin' Dave twenty years ago. Since then he has released forty albums, and made over three hundred festival appearances, including some major ones such as Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, and Bestival.

With his songwriting Dave has engulfed himself in the masters of American roots music, remained true, but managed to produce “not…a sound of yesteryear that should be in a museum but real, modern and relevant that should be heard live” Blues Matters.

Dave has stomped his way onto the line up of many top blues festivals including Gloucester Blues Festival, York Blues Festival, Upton Blues Festival, The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, and many other blues and music clubs.
